Altinkum Holidays and Nightlife

I never liked the idea of going on holiday to a beach destination and party every night, get drunk to bed and lay down on the beach burning your skin until it’s dinner time and after that party time again. Not my kind of holiday, so I never went on holiday with my friends. What made me change my mind for holiday? My friend did. Hard to believe, but that’s a true story.

Normally my friend and I do get on very well. Not just a little, but a lot! She is 2 years younger and totally the opposite of me. So what do I do? I go on holiday with my friend to the beach destination Altinkum in Turkey.

Why Altinkum, friends of my sister booked an expensive holiday and she didn’t have that much money and her new boyfriend already booked a holiday before they met. I felt sorry for her and decided to go on a cheap vacation. We went to a travel agency and the cheapest option we had was a seven day holiday to Altinkum in Turkey.

Late afternoon we took the train to Manchester Airport to fly with Thomas Cook to Bodrum Airport, Turkey. Arriving at the airport and picking up our back the airport and everything was perfect, we did get the transfer bus to the hotel in Altinkum. More than one hours later we arrived at Altinkum. Beach was perfect and water was so clear.

Our hotel was a 10 minute walk from the Altinkum Beach, but that was okey because l do like litle walk and always enjoyed. A little tired after the flight we arrived at the hotel and checked in. We had to tell the receptionist very clearly that we were friends and wanted separate beds. Altinkum weather was very hot and we did get fan from hotel reception which was acceptable for us because air conditioning was expensive. Our room was very good because had everythink we needed on holiday.

After early breakfast at the restaurant the tour operator came to us and we booked some guided tours, together we did the Ephesus and the Jeep Safari and I also booked a Turkish Bath in town and a massage.

The Ephesus tour was great and we was very impressed with library. The jeep safari was amazing too but drivers wasnt that safe! A whole day crossing the forrest, the mountains and the hills. Having lunch at a beatiful spot with fresh water and good food. On the way a lot of beautilful views of Akbuk, Denizkoy.

The boat trip round Altinkum was really relax! Leaving from the harbor of Altinkum, sailing out on the bays and little beaches was the best l think because water was very clear and l did fall in love with Akbuk in Turkey! Nice dance musics on the boat, swimming in the clear blue water and tanning on the deck. The massage was one I never forget.

After all that I gave myself over to the beach style holiday in Altinkum. I went partying four out of seven nights, went two discos, bars and enjoyed Altinkum Nightlife but not much however l think was in off for small town but need more different kind a music because all most every bar restaurant in Altinkum had a same type a music. 28/09/2009 S Marshall- UK
